Of the two main types of jade-jadeite and nephrite-jadeite is rarer and more valuable. It's color, transparency and texture are key factors in its valuation.

Types of Jadeite Treatments

- Type C: Dyed jadeite with added coloring, typically alongside other treatments.
- Type B+C: A combination of Type B and Type C processes, meaning that the jadeite has been bleached, dyed and impregnated.
- Type D: Composed of a natural jadeite top and other materials such as glass or plastic as a backing to enhance its durability.

All jadeite products showcased online are certified as genuine Type A Jadeite, ensuring they are natural and untreated by any chemical processes. Only jadeite without artificial treatments meets the standard for Type A certification.
